Our Rights Fulfill

This Piece titled: Our Rights Fulfill; began “simply” as a colored pencil drawing (on acid free paper).

We have several neighbors, acquaintances, family members and friends bound to a wheelchair at one point or another – some permanently.

They don’t let it hold them back.

Why should we make it harder?!

Thinking of our veteran neighbor (and my cousin who recently passed) Patriotism and wheelchairs came to mind while drawing.

It then expanded to mounting the paper on plywood with acrylic paint surrounded by an exploding flow of calligraphic statements.

All was then completed with a golden frame.
