Interviewed on KING-5 Evening (Magazine) for Trails of the Northwest paintings - an episode that was nominated for an Emmy.
Featured in the 20th Anniversary collection of unusual artists on Evening.
Showing in the Colored Pencil Society’s 20th Anniversary Northwest Exhibition at Semantics Gallery of Edmonds. Serving on the Board with EAFA (the Evergreen Association of Fine Art.) Often showing in their Open Juried Exhibitions.
Having won awards and marketed through our Renton River Days Juried Show.
Along with winning Blue-Ribbons & Best in Division awards & many others for Fine Art, crafts & calligraphy at the Washington State Fair (a.k.a.: The Puyallup) for numerous years. Exhibiting art private & public, ever learning & expanding, researching, attending (as well as being contracted to give) demonstrations, meeting other artists, teaching.
Juried in as a member of Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, Washington.
Contracted to decorate two “Pigs” for the Pike Place Market Foundation, as well as a “Nutcracker” for 2007 Pacific Northwest Ballet Nutcracker March benefiting Northwest Center! President of the Society of Artists for Newcastle.
Primarily fancies using acrylic - on canvas, glass, wood, denim, paper, as well as wash/watercolor; along with a great deal of Digital Design; Prismacolor drawing; charcoal; graphite; mixed media; etc… Also enjoys ceramics, woodwork, carving & metal design.
With an Interdisciplinary in Fine Arts BA from the University of Washington, many topics and methods are covered. This was thoroughly expanded upon with another BA in Graphic Design (at the Art Institute) & an AA in Digital Media Arts at Bellevue College.
